![]() ![]() I really liked the way that she wrote The Chocolate Temptation to be in the same timeline as The Chocolate Heart, so you actually got to see a little of Summer and Luc's story from Patrick's viewpoint. more n of the Chocolat series by Laura Florand. And we still don't know who Luc's mysterious partner in the South Of France is (which was the teaser at the end of the book before this.) Can I say I'm annoyed again? Annoyed. Done.Even though it's not a cliffhanger, it feels cliffhanger-y emotionally. No going back to say hey to the many offstage characters. One breath after the big reveal, we are struck in the face with "Fin". But here we are having slogged through the book (which started out well, lots of kitchen scenes, characters, and then devolved into pages and pages and pages of the two lovers each worrying over their own insecurities on and on and on) and then splat. ![]() Review 1: What an annoying ending! Oh yes it's oh so romantic. ![]()
